DJ Dice

After five years in the early Northern California rave scene, Monterey native DJ Dice started practicing mixing in his bedroom in 1995, experimenting in acid and trance while gaining confidence in the mechanics of mixing and flow. Playing local parties and clubs soon led to his four year residency as host of KAZU Radio's electronic dance music program, "Sounds of the Underground," and the formation of Straylight Productions. An NRG DJ for the first few years of the millenium, Dice eventually began to feel limited by the relentless and intensive 150 bpm of Hard Dance. After a religious conversion of sorts, he now fills his crate with similarly acid tinged, deep and funky breakbeats to move the entire crowd from start to finish.
